Charles Elmer Ponder (June 26, 1893 – April 20, 1974) was a professional baseball player. He was a right-handed pitcher over parts of four seasons (1917, 1919–21) with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs. For his career, he compiled a 17-27 record, with a 3.21 earned run average, and 113 strikeouts in 378⅔ innings pitched.
An alumnus of the University of Oklahoma, he was born in Reed, Oklahoma and died in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 80.
